Presh - have you ever read any Lisa Jackson books? If not see if your library has some Lisa Jackson books. They are pretty good. I haven't read one in awhile. I am reading one now called "You Betrayed Me" and it was a little slow at first, but now is a "can't put it down" book.

I'm going to try a Nora Ephron book and see if it's good. Her books were popular at the library. She is supposed to be pretty funny. If not I can go back to Janet Evonovich if I don't like it.

Her movies were the greatest.
Have you read Louise Penny? Luvvie loved her .. I suffered thru 1 book and never tried another one; very popular.

Thank you - I'll see if I can get that one. "Paranoid" - right? This thing I started reading is just a quickie short story. It was kind of funny, but I thought it was a regular book. I was wrong. I just read it because I had it up and it was kind of funny. I had to get up early so I didn't pursue anything else.

Paranoid??? Are you talking book?? Have no idea what you mean.

I was looking through her books and there was one called "Paranoid". I wrote that before I went back to see the one you named. I have read several of her books and my Kindle will tell which ones I have read and what the date was. We just got back from taking the dogs to the vet for their annual shots. That is NOT a funadventure. My brain is rattled. Try wrestling a 100 pound dog that is nervous in a car with the other one jumping around like an idiot. I sit out in the car with one while the other one goes in and then Robert brings that one back and exchanges dogs without the other one jumping out. It is 90 degrees and it was NOT a fun event. I remember seeing all these books when I worked at the library in Ada. I put all the adult books back when they were brought back. They all sound familiar.

I just went and looked Lisa Jackson up on my Kindle and I have read all of them but one, so I guess I will try and get that one. "The Third Grave" Now I just have to hope that it is available.

It's not available, so I am going to read one called The Hunchback of Nieman Marcus. Looks like it might be funny.

Are you talking about NE or LP???![]()

I was talking about Louise Penny when I said I had read a lot of hers back when Luv recommended them. Not sure that Nora Ephron is going to be my cup of tea. I did start the Hunchback of Neiman Marcus and it looks like it might be pretty funny and a fast read, It's about a woman turning 50 and starting menopause. Her daughter is leaving for college and she is very close to her, her mother is getting old with signs of dementia, her husband is getting on her nerves, she can't get her work done. Basically a crazy mid-life crisis and funny.

That sounds like one of Nora's movies. Sounds good.
