I had to put the Kate Quinn book down. It is well written, but just not my deal. Too much about Russia and guns and war. Well written, but boring. I chose a J.A. Jance book instead. Much better!

I haven't been able to read this past week .. only a page or 2 at night, as it's too painful the way I lay in bed and read.
And I miss it, damnit!!

Have you read any J.A. Jance? She is pretty good. She does mysteries. What I like so far is there aren't 5,000 characters, not too gory, and I have no idea about "who done it" yet. I'll let you know if it's good when I get done.

Does your library have the CD audio books? Where you can just listen to them? Alot of people get those to take on trips with them while driving. There are also people that prefer listening to a book rather than reading for various reasons. Books are too heavy, eyes are getting bad/blind, just enjoy the narration, etc.

I don't think they do?? We have a couple of ladies who have MD and they get tapes of books from the Blind Society I think.
I don't think I could concentrate 'listen' to books ..

That may be what I am talking about. There are people that check out the audio CD' for blind friends/relatives. I also messed up my sentence about authors with 5,000 characters. J.A. Jance doesn't have that in the book I am reading now. Look and see if you have any in your library. I think you might like them.
