Good movie!!  Boy, talk about improvements in movie theaters .. just like sitting in my Laz-Boy with legs going up and seat warmers!  Thankfully I didn't need that, as it was not air conditioned to freezing point.
Ads ran way too long in beginning and sound system was ear splitting.  Thankfully it was turned down when movie started.

Who was in the movie? Did you like it as much as the book?

Blake Lively played lead and she was wonderful .. so pretty.  The younger gal that played her a teenagers was remarkable, as she had her mannerisms down perfect and resemblance was great.  I don't know who the 2 men were .. new to me, but both good.
I usually always like book better, but this was a close second.

You are right about the books being better, because you always have an image in your head of what the people look like while reading it. Then you see them and it messes with your head.

I read the book and saw the movie.  I agree with you Presh, book is always better. Blake Lively was great and her younger self was almost identical to her, it was eerie.  The actors were no namers mostly.  Presh did you know the guy that played Ryle also directed the movie.
I thought they downplayed the violence too much.  I understand not wanting it to be too traumatizing but it was nothing compared to the book.  I read that the director wanted it to be just like the book but Blake Lively didn’t want it to be violent.  The author sided with Blake.

Oh thanks, Bou, I did not know that!   Did you read the sequel too?
Her father beating Atlas was rough to watch.
