I really miss Robert Osborne on TCM. His intros were as interesting as the movies he showed.
As for Christmas movies - Holiday Inn, A Christmas Story, and I have to admit to Christmas Vacation.

This really isnt on topic but lately I've been watching Netflix. Downton abby call of the midwife and the crown. Things that were big a few years ago I didnt have time for. Now that i do I'm finding them very interesting. I also liked bridgerton!

Micha, those are all lauded series. I watched the first episode of Downton and didn't know it was a series. Duh. I loved the few I saw but didn't keep up. Silly me.

Oh Luv, you should watch all of Downton Abbey. It's replayed on our PBS station pretty regularly. So good and The Crown is good too.
I've just started getting into The Soprano's .. never saw it and had a long wait list on Netflix (discs thru the mail).

I'll keep an eye out on our local PBS station.

I think I am the only female that has not seen Downton Abbey.

Well, all I saw was the first episode so I can't say I watched it. I did commit to Roots years ago, we had an apartment watch party for one. And there was another British mini series that we were glued to but can't recall the name, back in the 80s. It wasn't Upstairs Downstairs. I think Jeremy Irons was in though.
