Classic (or not) movies

Which movie(s) do you always watch when you get a chance? My favorites are Rear Window (Grace Kelly's wonderful wardrobe!!) and the suspense always gets me. I also love The Birds even though the parts that scared me as a kid make me giggle now.

I like The Birds too.  The Sound of Music is an all time favorite.  I have seen that I don't know how many times.  I love Barefoot in the Park, Father Goose, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Mr. Hobbs Takes a Vacation, Hello Dolly, etc etc I could go on forever.

All of the above, but I think my favorite Hitchcock is Vertigo and Kim Novak's wardrobe in that was gorgeous, as was she.   And I've seen Funny Girl more times than I can count, but can only do The Way We Were once a year!!

Some really old classic favorites of mine (since I'm a really old classic) is:

1.  Leave Her to Heaven
2.  Now Voyager
3.  Gaslight

Presh, I never watched Now Voyager until a few years ago because I wasn't a Bette Davis fan. And I really liked it, it was nothing like I thought it would be.

I almost forgot Steel Magnolias.  It's sad, but also has so many funny parts.

Yes!

Shirley MacLaine was priceless in that movie.   Haven't heard anything about here lately.

She was hysterical.  They all were.  She and Olympia D. were quite the pair.  Then Tom Skerrit going after Weezer was just too damn funny.
