Has anybody heard of/played Mexican Train? It started around here last fall and it's crazy how many people have really gotten "on the train". We played Thanksgiving weekend and got a game for son and his family, we played all Christmas weekend. Quite lively!

Never heard of it? How do you play Luv?

They play it here and all seem to love it. My sister did too, but I haven't tried it.

Yes, it uses dominoes, the rounds go fast and very easy to learn. You get x amount of dominoes to start and the first one to use them all by making a "train"of ones that match wins the round. Easy for kids to learn (the 6 year old did) but strategy for grown-ups too.

Just looked it up and you need the dominoes that have double 12's right? It also has 96 dominoes?

Doubles on 1-12 I've never played regular dominoes but I'm thinking these are different.
Oh, and up to 8 can play.

Can you play with just 2 people? I suppose it is more fun with more people.

I think here they want at least 4.
Anything like that is hard on my hands, they cramp.
They also play Hand & Foot here and seem to enjoy it.

Well - with just the 2 of us it may not work.

We talked about that and figured it was possible but not as much fun. I would do 3 and up.
